Inter have received an enquiry from Nice for their outgoing striker Gabriel Barbosa, according to le10sport.com in France.

Gabigol is on loan with Flamengo until 31 December, but he could be recalled earlier if the Nerazzurri receive an appealing offer.

Nice, who are now coached by Inter’s former midfielder Patrick Vieira, have asked for information on the forward but are yet to make an official proposal.

Dynamo Moscow, Sevilla and Villarreal are among the other European clubs linked with Gabigol lately, who has rediscovered his scoring touch since returning to Brazil.

Antonio Conte is anxiously awaiting another striker on the transfer market as he ramps up preparation ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Gabigol’s sparkling form in the Brasileirao will not be enough to earn him a second chance at the club, though, despite the fact he has three years left on his deal.

The 22-year-old joined Inter from Santos in 2016 but scored just once in nine league appearances.
