Ivan Perisic thanked Inter’s fans for their support last night after completing a move to Bayern Munich.

The Croatian is only on loan in the Bundesliga and could return to the Nerazzurri next summer if Bayern don’t exercise their option to buy.

However, Perisic is clearly not expecting such a scenario to unfold after appearing to bid farewell to Inter for good.

“I would like to turn to all of you who have been part of my professional life in the last few years,” he began on Instagram.

“First of all I’d like to thank all the Interisti from the bottom of my heart, for your constant devotion both in the simple and in the more demanding times.

“And then, naturally, I must thank F.C. Internazionale Milano – all the staff and in particular all the coaches and players.

“Your advice and experience will always be part of me as a person and as a player.”

Perisic scored 40 goals in 162 appearances for Inter, having signed in a €20 million deal from Wolfsburg in 2015.
