Inter are determined to sign another midfielder for Antonio Conte before the transfer window shuts on 2 September, according to Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri will have to sell Mauro Icardi if they wish to make another big investment, having already spent heavily on players such as Nicolo Barella and Romelu Lukaku.

They also need to find a buyer for Joao Mario, who has attracted strong interest from Galatasaray and a timid approach from Marseille.

Offloading both players could free up enough money and room to chase a deal for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, a player Beppe Marotta has admired since his Juventus days.

Marotta is ready to launch an offensive for the Lazio midfielder should Inter create the conditions for a transfer to take place.

The club are planning to wait until the final few days of the window before making any moves, though, when they will have a better idea who is available on the market.
