Samuele Longo will sign a four-year deal with Deportivo La Coruna when he leaves Inter, according to FcInterNews.it.

The striker is only moving on loan for now, but the Galician outfit will be obliged to sign him permanently for €1.5 million if they are promoted to La Liga this season.

Inter began talks with Depor more than a month ago, but Antonio Conte temporarily blocked the move due to his striker shortage in preseason.

The Nerazzurri finally gave the green light this morning and will now complete the final formalities of the deal.

Depor will be one of the favourites to earn promotion from the Segunda Division after losing last season’s play-off final against Mallorca.

Javier Irureta led them to the Champions League semi-finals in 2004 and the club are hoping they can return to their former glories under Juan Antonio Anquela.

Longo has already enjoyed five loan spells in Spain, scoring once for Huesca during the first half of last season.

Espanyol, Rayo Vallecano, Girona and Tenerife have also signed the forward, but none were willing to make a permanent investment on him.
