Facundo Colidio still dreams of becoming a key player for Inter one day after the striker joined Sint-Truiden on loan.

The Argentina under-20 international was heavily linked with a move to Leeds United but talks fell through on England’s transfer deadline day.

Colidio gave his first interview with the Belgian club today after completing a move earlier this week.

Asked whether he had ambitions of returning to Inter, the striker told Het Belang van Limburg: “That’s the aim, yes. Who knows, perhaps one day I’ll get the chance to play alongside Romelu Lukaku.

“I played for Inter’s U19 side during the first two years of my contract but now I want to hold down a place in the starting XI for an important club like Sint-Truiden. The level of competition here is higher than it was in the Primavera.”

Colidio also discussed his main qualities as a player, explaining how he felt comfortable shooting with both feet.

“I’m right-footed but I can assure you my left foot is almost as good,” he added.

“I always want the ball played to my feet and I manage to score goals fairly easily.”
