Edin Dzeko’s contract extension at Roma makes it more likely Inter will swap Mauro Icardi for Paulo Dybala, according to La Stampa.

Dybala has been placed on the transfer market by Juventus as the Bianconeri aim to revamp their attacking options with Maurizio Sarri.

Icardi remains the club’s first target but Juve must sell at least one forward before they can move for Inter’s former captain.

Inter are reluctant to sell Maurito to their arch rivals, but now they can no longer sign Dzeko they are expected to take the idea of swapping him for Dybala more seriously.

Dybala is in limbo between Juventus, Inter and Paris Saint-Germain, but he is continuing to work hard in preseason and is thought to be enjoying the attention he is receiving.

La Joya’s future could be indirectly influenced by an eventual deal between PSG and Barcelona for Neymar, a move which would require the French champions to find another forward.
