Inter could revive their interest for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Ante Rebic after Edin Dzeko surprisingly signed a contract extension at Roma, according to Sky Sport.

The Nerazzurri were not caught out by the Bosnian’s decision to stay in the capital and were already studying alternative options.

Rebic is a player Inter have followed throughout the summer, first as a fall-back option to Romelu Lukaku and now to Dzeko.

Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik, RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez and free agent Fernando Llorente are among the club’s other ideas.

Werner would represent the most high-profile choice but seems destined to join Bayern Munich, making a deal for the German international unlikely.

Sanchez is surplus to requirements at United despite recent comments from manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggesting he was not for sale.

Inter are also refusing to give up on the idea of signing Paulo Dybala from Juventus, which would be possible via a swap deal with Mauro Icardi.
