Napoli could offer Arkadiusz Milik to Inter as the Partenopei step up their pursuit for Mauro Icardi, according to Corriere della Sera.

Icardi has already been heavily linked with two swap deals this summer, involving Juventus forward Paulo Dybala and Roma striker Edin Dzeko.

Dzeko’s decision to sign a new three-year deal with the Giallorossi means he now only has two options left regarding his future.

Icardi will take until the start of next week to consider his next move, at which point he will be obliged to give Napoli a final response.

Inter were caught out by news of Dzeko’s contract extension last night and are now forced to weigh up alternative options in the transfer market.

Dybala appears to be the most realistic target but it remains to be seen whether Juventus will agree to swap him for Icardi.

Icardi still hopes to join the Bianconeri before the Italian window shuts on 2 September.

Napoli have already made one failed attempt to sign Maurito, back in the summer of 2016, and it seems they could be about to receive a second snub.
