Nice are willing to pay Dalbert’s wages in full if they resign the full-back on a loan deal from Inter, according to Mercato365 in France.

Patrick Vieira’s side are pushing hard to bring the Brazilian back and have built up an advantage over their competition.

They are prepared to offer Inter an initial loan followed by an option to buy, although the report did not clarify what the eventual transfer fee would be.

Inter want to offload Dalbert so they can free up a place in their squad for Cristiano Biraghi, who is closing in on a return from Fiorentina.

The Nerazzurri invested more than €20 million into Dalbert when signing him from Nice in 2017.

The 25-year-old has disappointed right from the off, however, making just 11 league appearances under Luciano Spalletti last season.

Biraghi spent seven years playing in Inter’s academy and would be eligible for a homegrown slot in Antonio Conte’s Serie A and Champions League squads.

The Italy international played 35 matches for Fiorentina last season as the Viola narrowly escaped a shock relegation to Serie B.
