Radja Nainggolan has denied he offended Inter by congratulating Edin Dzeko for his contract extension at Roma.

Dzeko signed a new three-year deal in the capital last night after weeks of speculation suggesting he would join the Nerazzurri.

An Inter supporter responded to Nainggolan’s comments on social media to accuse him of disrespecting his parent club, who sent him on loan to Cagliari last month.

In an angry Instagram story, the midfielder wrote: “I’ve never offended Inter and nor will I ever do so.

“Can I not just congratulate Dzeko for his renewal? How could this have anything to do with Inter? Have we all gone crazy in 2019?

“When I say nice things about Romelu Lukaku I’m told I’m great, but when I say this about Dzeko they tell me I’m a d***…

“Is it me who’s the fake one, or is it those people who first tell you you’re great and then tell you to f*** off?”

Nainggolan scored seven goals for Inter last season before rejoining the Rossoblu earlier this summer.
