Federico Dimarco could move to Spal or Atalanta in the final two weeks of the transfer window, according to FcInterNews.it.

The full-back has impressed Antonio Conte during preseason at Inter and could stay to provide an extra option out wide.

Spal have approached Dimarco’s agent Giuseppe Riso and will step up their interest if they cannot sign Arkadiusz Reca from Atalanta.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are also studying a last-minute deal, however, which could be facilitated by Riso’s strong relationship with owner Antonio Percassi.

Dimarco has an admirer in Gasperini and would be likely to join the Bergamaschi if Inter completed a deal for Cristiano Biraghi.

Alternatively, he could become a useful option for the Nerazzurri in the Champions League due to his status as a homegrown player.

Dimarco made 13 appearances on loan for Parma last season as the Ducali preserved their Serie A status on the penultimate weekend.

His greatest moment of the campaign came against Inter at San Siro, when the 21-year-old secured a famous 1-0 win with a long-range strike.
