Atalanta could soon make a move for Inter defender Federico Dimarco according to a report from Milan based news outelt Il Giorno.

Dimarco’s time with the Nerazzurri appears to be up and Inter’s pursuit of Fiorentina’s Cristiano Biraghi is further confirmation of this with Biraghi seemingly being brought in to replace Dalbert, who is set to depart for former club Nice.

Il Giorno’s report states that due to Dimarco’s agent Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Riso having good relations with Atalanta, it could make for a favourable negotiation for the Bergamo based club, who have several of Riso’s clients already on their books, including Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez.

The 21-year-old spent the past season on loan at fellow Serie A side Parma but due to a long term injury, he was limited to just 14 appearances across all competitions for the Ducali. In 962 minutes on the park, Dimarco scored once, with that goal coming against Inter.
