Inter face competition from Borussia Dortmund for the possible signing of Fernando Llorente according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Nerazzurri have drawn links to the veteran Spanish striker due to his status as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season.

Inter are understood to view the 34-year-old as a back-up option for club record signing Romelu Lukaku and Llorente is believed to be asking for a two year contract worth €3 million per season.

The report goes on to state that officials from Dortmund have been in contact with his agent, Jesus Llorente in recent days with a view to making a move for him.

It further states that Llorente is looking to return to Serie A where he has previously played for Juventus and that his agent has also spoken with Lazio, Fiorentina and Napoli but none of the trio have made a move.
