Inter and Manchester United are locked in talks over the possible transfer of attacker Alexis Sanchez according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri have already struck an agreement with the Chilean international over personal terms and have agreed the transfer formula of loan with redemption option with the Red Devils but now must agree on the figures.

Inter are hopeful that they can close a deal for the 30-year-old in the next 48 hours with Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta particularly optimistic about the clubs chances of doing so.

The report goes on to state that Inter are also working to close a few other deals just shortly, namely deals for Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal and Fiorentina’s Cristiano Biraghi.

Inter could also make a move for free agent Fernando Llorente, who left Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season. The veteran Spanish forward would be brought in to be Romelu Lukaku’s deputy.
