Inter are seriously considering whether to make a move for free agent striker Fernando Llorente according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The veteran Spaniard left Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season after his contract with the London club expired and he is said to be looking for a two year deal at prospective future employers.

The 34-year-old is a player that Inter manager Antonio Conte and Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta know particularly well due to working with him whilst he was with Juventus a few years back.

Llorente, as per the report, would offer Inter an alternative option to club record signing Romelu Lukaku in the attack and would bring in an absolute tonne of experience which he has accumulated over 16 year professional career.

Last season Llorente made 35 appearances across all competitions for Spurs. In 1247 minutes on the park, he scored eight goals and provided five assists for teammates.
