Inter will need Barcelona to lower their demands for Arturo Vidal if they are to sign the midfielder this month, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Catalan giants want €20 million for the Chilean international, who scored three goals in a mixed debut season under Ernesto Valverde.

Inter will be ready to move for Vidal at the end of the transfer window if Barca drop their asking price, but in the meantime they are studying ‘low cost’ alternatives.

Antonio Conte wants another reinforcement in midfield but the Nerazzurri must first offload Joao Mario, who has interest from Monaco, Galatasaray and his former club Sporting Lisbon.

Inter want Vidal and Cristiano Biraghi to become their final two summer arrivals, once Alexis Sanchez has rejoined Romelu Lukaku in Milan.

Fiorentina last night confirmed they were in talks over a deal for the full-back, who spent seven years in Inter’s academy before leaving in 2014.

Biraghi has already agreed personal terms with Inter and is due to arrive on loan later this week.

Inter are simultaneously looking to resolve Dalbert’s future, with the Brazilian seemingly close to a return to Nice.
