Antonio Conte wants Inter to sign two of his former Juventus players to finish the club’s transfer business, according to Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri’s head coach has identified Fernando Llorente as the perfect man to complete his options in attack, after Inter decided not to pursue a deal for Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik.

But Conte is also looking for another midfielder in the final two weeks of the window and has set his eyes upon Arturo Vidal, who is not guaranteed to stay at Barcelona.

“Inter are stalling whenever they’re asked to comment on the Llorente rumours,” TS reported this morning.

“This is partly because they’re still working to complete a deal to sign Alexis Sanchez, who will arrive in Milan tonight or tomorrow at the latest, but also because they would need to sell Matteo Politano before bringing in Llorente, given that Conte wants to work with four strikers this season.”

Conte and Marotta both appreciated Llorente’s ‘moral qualities’ in Turin and think he is a suitable alternative option to Romelu Lukaku, who will not be able to play every match in a busy season.

Sebastiano Esposito will feature for the first team as well but he will also spend time with the Primavera this season, so he does not occupy one of Conte’s four slots in attack.

Inter are targeting Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in midfield but Conte would be more than happy to welcome Vidal back to Serie A.

Some at the club are worried the Chilean would end up going the same way as Radja Nainggolan last season, but Conte is prepared to guarantee personally for the player he coached at Juventus.

Inter could also sign a surprise name in the last week of the market but it will depend on who becomes available and at what conditions.

In the meantime, Dalbert is moving closer to rejoining Nice while Sporting Lisbon appear to be serious about their interest for Joao Mario.
