Inter ‘Certain’ To Resign Cristiano Biraghi From Fiorentina

Inter are certain to complete a deal to resign Cristiano Biraghi from Fiorentina before the transfer window shuts, according to Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri have agreed a five-year deal worth €2 million annually with the player and are now seeking a deal with the Viola.

Fiorentina do not like Inter’s latest offer of a loan worth €1-2 million plus an option to buy, instead preferring a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy.

But Biraghi’s exclusion from Sunday’s Coppa Italia match against Monza was thought to be a clear sign of the player’s imminent departure.

Fiorentina wanted to sign Dalbert as part of a deal with Inter for Biraghi, but the Brazilian made it clear he had other plans in mind for his future.

Daniele Prade may therefore look to include Matteo Politano instead, having been linked with the former Sassuolo man throughout the summer.

Inter may conclude their negotiations with Fiorentina in the next few hours or it could be delayed until after Vincenzo Montella’s side play Napoli on Saturday.

TS were certain Biraghi would eventually be granted his wish of rejoining Inter, though, where he spent seven years in the club’s youth system before leaving in 2014.
