Inter are preparing to offer Lazio a total of €75 million to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic on loan, according to Libero.

The Nerazzurri’s plan is to pay €15 million up front with a subsequent option to buy the midfielder for €60 million.

The paper did not indicate whether Lazio would be likely to accept such an offer, simply reporting that they were waiting for Inter to make an official approach.

Milinkovic-Savic scored seven goals for Simone Inzaghi’s side last season as they finished eighth in Serie A and won the Coppa Italia.

Inter are far closer to securing a deal for Alexis Sanchez and should welcome the forward for a medical at some point this week.

Sanchez could be joined in Milan by his Chile teammate Arturo Vidal, who seems inclined to accept an offer to be reunited with Antonio Conte.

Vidal is only an alternative option to Milinkovic-Savic, but for now Beppe Marotta remains hopeful of securing a move for the Serbian.

Inter are also working hard on outgoing deals, with Dalbert on the verge of moving to Nice and Joao Mario hoping to sign for Monaco soon.

Mauro Icardi is less likely to leave, having rejected offers from both Monaco and Napoli.
