Inter are confident of completing a deal to sign Alexis Sanchez in the coming hours, according to Sky Sport.
Talks with Manchester United are progressing well and should see the forward join on a free loan with an option to buy for €15 million.
Inter are also working on Sanchez’s personal terms beyond the initial loan spell because they intend to keep the 30-year-old permanently.
Sanchez would be the club’s final signing in attack, despite reports linking Inter with a move for free agent Fernando Llorente.
Antonio Conte wants four attackers to work with this season, three of which would be Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Matteo Politano.
Sanchez has become Inter’s primary transfer target after Edin Dzeko decided to sign a new three-year deal with Roma.
The Chilean has only scored five goals in 45 appearances since joining United from Arsenal in January 2018.
Conte hopes to resurrect Sanchez’s career and extract the performance levels that went missing in Manchester.
