Mauro Icardi is still waiting for Juventus to make their move with less than a fortnight until the transfer window shuts, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Napoli have tried to persuade Inter’s former captain to join them instead but the Partenopei have not received a definitive response either way.
Juventus want to sign Icardi but Fabio Paratici has too much outgoing business to deal with first, forcing the Bianconeri to delay a move for the 26-year-old.
Paratici promised Wanda Nara the club would make Inter an offer for the striker, but time is running out for them to do so.
Icardi appears to have decided that he will only leave Inter this summer if Juve can agree a deal with the Nerazzurri.
CdS suggested the Italian champions could end their interest in Maurito if they cannot make their move before Saturday, when Maurzio Sarri’s side begin their Serie A campaign against Parma.
