Inter could add not one but two players to the list of Chileans to have played for the club before the transfer window closes according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri are set to land Alexis Sanchez from Premier League side Manchester United in a loan with option to buy and he will become the fifth Chilean to pull on the Nerazzurri shirt.

Ivan Zamorano, David Pizarro, Luis Jimenez and Gary Medel are the four previous Chilean’s to represent Inter throughout the years.

Zamorano, who famously wore 1+8 on the back of his shirt, was perhaps the most popular Chilean and won a UEFA Cup during his time with the club.

The report goes on to state that a sixth Chilean could play for Inter in the shape of Arturo Vidal. The Barcelona midfielder has drawn links with Inter, with manager Antonio Conte seemingly keen on being reunited with the 32-year-old, who he worked with previously at Juventus.
