Inter may need to sell Federico Dimarco in order to finance a move for Fiorentina full-back Cristiano Biraghi, according to Tuttosport.
The Italy under-21 international has strong interest from Torino after making 13 appearances on loan with Parma last season.
Inter want to sign Biraghi on a free loan with an option to buy, but Fiorentina want the loan to be paid because they need to find a replacement.
Dimarco may provide the Nerazzurri with the funds they need to grant the Viola’s latest request.
Biraghi played 35 league matches for Fiorentina last season as Vincenzo Montella’s side narrowly escaped relegation to Serie B.
He spent seven years in Inter’s academy, before leaving to join Chievo in 2014, and would be eligible for a ‘homegrown’ spot in Antonio Conte’s Champions League squad.
Inter are also expected to offload Dalbert before Italy’s transfer window shuts on 2 September.
The Brazilian is heavily linked with a return to Nice, but Gianluca Di Marzio tonight suggested he could yet move to Fiorentina in a swap deal with Biraghi.
