Negotiations between Inter and Manchester United over Alexis Sanchez are currently at the final stage according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Chilean’s agent Fernando Felicevich will today meet with Manchester United officials with a view to closing the deal and today or tomorrow Sanchez should travel to Milan before undergoing his medical and complete his transfer to the Nerazzurri.

Inter have made a free loan with redemption option to buy offer at around €15 million. United would however like a small loan fee given they have committed to paying around half of Sanchez’s €15 million a year wages.

Inter, as per the report, are not worried by this and remain optimistic that United will accept their offer.

Antonio Conte is looking forward to working with Sanchez and is convinced that he will be able to get the 30-year-old back to his best after a disappointing spell at Old Trafford following his arrival at the club from Arsenal back in January 2018.
