Inter will train at San Siro prior to their 2019/20 Serie A opener against Lecce on Monday night according to a report from Rome based news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

Antonio Conte’s Nerazzurri will train at San Siro on Friday night for two reasons: The first reason is to test the playing surface and the second reason is so the lighting at the stadium can be tested.

Inter’s match with Lecce is scheduled to kick-off at 20:45 local time and will be Conte’s first competitive match at the helm of the club.

Several of the club’s Summer signings could well make their home debuts on Monday night including club record signing Romelu Lukaku, who arrived a few weeks ago from Premier League club Manchester United.

As per reports circulating in the media, the Nerazzurri will be well supported on the night with around 60,000 fans expected to attend the match, with 37,000 of those being season ticket holders.
