Matteo Politano’s Inter future is up in the air and is likely to be determined by any further business Inter make in the remainder of the transfer window according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian winger had drawn links to Fiorentina and looked like he may have been included in a deal for Cristiano Biraghi but then Inter pulled the plug as Inter manager Antonio Conte wants to have a deputy for Romelu Lukaku.

Politano is currently the deputy but with Inter drawing links to Fernando Llorente and seemingly set to complete the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United, Politano’s chances of playing will be reduced and he could well then depart the club.

The 25-year-old joined Inter on loan with an option to buy last Summer and after a decent debut campaign, Inter took up their option to buy him on a permanent basis from Sassuolo earlier this Summer.
