Inter have approached Fernando Llorente about signing the striker on a free transfer, Corriere della Sera confirmed this morning.

Antonio Conte wants the club to sign him an understudy for Romelu Lukaku and spent one season working with the Spaniard at Juventus.

Napoli have already ‘reserved’ Llorente but will not complete a move for the free agent until they receive a final response from Mauro Icardi.

CdS reported rumours suggesting Wanda Nara had traveled to Capri to meet the Partenopei’s owner Aurelio De Laurentiis, but they made it clear these remained unconfirmed.

Inter still want to sign a left-sided wing-back before the transfer window closes and this is most likely to be Cristiano Biraghi from Fiorentina.

The Nerazzurri would like to complete a loan swap between Biraghi and their own full-back Dalbert, but the Brazilian wants to rejoin Nice instead.

Inter are trying to convince the 25-year-old to accept the Viola’s offer but it seems they have not succeeded yet.
