Mauro Icardi’s hopes of joining Juventus this month are reliant upon Mario Mandzukic signing for Barcelona, according to Tuttosport.

The Bianconeri have never stopped thinking about the Inter striker, but they need to offload at least one of their own forwards before making a move.

Fabio Paratici is keen to get one over on his former colleague Beppe Marotta by signing Icardi for a cheap fee.

“Icardi has an offer from Napoli at the moment, but there is a deadline from the Partenopei which will expire in the next few hours,” TS reminded readers this morning.

“Juventus are waiting, having already had a chance to confirm Icardi’s appreciation for them, and are ready to intervene at the last minute.”

Maurito’s chances of moving to Turin would rise still further if Dybala followed Mandzukic out of the club by joining Paris Saint-Germain.

If La Joya did not move to France, however, Inter would be more than happy to discuss a swap deal for Dybala and Icardi.
