Cristiano Biraghi’s agent has assured Fiorentina he will leave them to decide whether the full-back should join Inter.
The clubs are widely thought to have an agreement to swap Biraghi and Dalbert, but the Brazilian is reportedly refusing to accept a move to Florence.
Mario Giuffredi held talks with Fioretina’s management last night and was intercepted by Sportitalia in Milan.
He said: “It was a pleasant conversation. We discussed the current state of affairs and Fiorentina will decide if the deal happens, it’s only right they consider everything with calm.
“Biraghi could move to Inter but the final say will be left to the club who have developed him and brought him up to certain levels.
“There’s no possibility which is greater than the other at the moment, there’s a relaxed atmosphere between us.
“I was left speechless by Joe Barone’s way of doing things and willingness to listen when I met him for the first time. When you find clubs like this it’s correct that they decide the player’s future.
“We’ll see if there are the conditions for Biraghi to resign for Inter, things can change quickly in the space of a few hours. But he’s paid to represent Fiorentina and needs to be professional because the club have always been there for him.”
