Inter are considering making an approach for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic before the Summer transfer window closes according to a report from Rome based news outlet La Repubblica.
The Nerazzurri club are willing to offer the Biancocelesti a significant cash sum plus both Matteo Politano and Roberto Gagliardini in exchange for the highly rated Serbian international midfielder.
Inter manager Antonio Conte reportedly wants another midfielder added to his squad before the window closes and it is understood that Milinkovic-Savic is the dream signing of the Nerazzurri.
As per the report, Lazio, for the time being anyway, are ready to resist any offers that come their way for the 24-year-old, who was named the best midfielder in Serie A for his exploits during the 2018/19 season.
Inter have also drawn links to several other midfielders including Barcelona duo Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic as well as the likes of Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes.
