Inter’s Eddie Salcedo looks set to be loaned to newly promoted Serie A side Hellas Verona according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian youth international joined Inter on a permanent basis from Genoa following a successful loan stint in Inter’s Primavera side but with playing opportunities likely to be difficult to come by, it has been considered best for his development that he goes out on loan in Serie A.

The two clubs have been in talks and as per the report, the clubs will meet again this coming week to strike out a final agreement over the 17-year-old starlet, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Last season, Salcedo made 35 appearances across all competitions for Armando Madonna’s Primavera side. In nearly 2300 minutes on the field, the young attacker scored 13 goals and provided four assists for his teammates in that same time.
