Alexis Sanchez will become an Inter player in the early part of next week according to a report from Turin based news outlet Tuttosport.
Inter are convinced that they can close the door for the Manchester United attacker as soon as Monday, the day they will begin their 2019/20 Serie A campaign.
There was further progress made in talks between the clubs when they met yesterday. During the meeting they agreed that Sanchez will join Inter on loan with the Nerazzurri having an option to buy him permanently for a sum of €15 million.
The two clubs are now working out how to split the 30-year-old’s €12.5 million salary with the report stating Inter are willing to pay around €4.5 million of it.
Sanchez is no stranger to Italian football having previously starred for Udinese, which earned him a move to Barcelona.
Last season he made 27 appearances across all competitions in which he scored just twice and tallied four assists.
