Just two of Inter’s many Summer transfer window additions will make their debuts for the club in Monday night’s Serie A season opener against newly promoted Lecce according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
Club record signing Romelu Lukaku is in line for his first competitive start as is Stefano Sensi. Nicolo Barella, Valentino Lazaro will more than likely be on the bench for the match at San Siro whilst other new recruit Diego Godin will miss the game entirely due to being sidelined by injury.
Inter manager Antonio Conte will deploy his new side in his trusted 3-5-2 system.
Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar will make up the back three in front of club captain and goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
Kwadwo Asamoah and Antonio Candreva will play at wing back with Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic and Stefano Sensi in midfield.
Lukaku will be partnered up-top by Lautaro Martinez.
Inter predicted line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi, Kwadwo Asamoah; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
