Torino have swooped in to try and sign Inter defender Federico Dimarco according to a report from Milan based news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.

Having missed out on other targets, the Granata have now set their sights on the Italian youth international, who, as per the report, has already given his blessing to a move to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Torino are now working with Inter to try and find an agreement for his transfer although the report does not disclose whether they wish to sign him on a straight loan, loan with option to buy or buy him outright.

The report goes on to state that Torino are hopeful that they can get the deal done for the 21-year-old this coming week.

Dimarco spent last season out on loan at Parma but his spell with the Ducali would be disrupted by a long-term injury which ultimately limited him to making just 14 appearances across all competitions.
