Lecce will be well backed in tomorrow night’s 19/20 Serie A season opener away to Inter according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Around 2500 Giallorossi fans have bought tickets for the match at San Siro which will be their first in Serie A since the 2011/12 season.

Meanwhile, 60,000 Inter fans have purchased tickets for the game which will be new manager Antonio Conte’s first competitive match in charge of the club.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to detail that Lecce have lost 14 of their last 15 matches that they have played at San Siro and their last win came way back in November 2000.

It also goes on to state that Inter have never lost their first game against a newly promoted side in seven seasons whilst Lecce have never won an opening day fixture in Serie A history.

Tomorrow’s match is scheduled to kick-off at 20:45 local time.
