Beppe Marotta has not lost hope of signing Paulo Dybala for Inter during the final week of the transfer window, according to Corriere della Sera.
The Nerazzurri’s CEO has played a huge role in forming Antonio Conte’s new-look side and wants to sign the forward he brought to Juventus in 2015.
Romelu Lukaku arrived two weeks ago and now Marotta is waiting to finish a deal for another Manchester United striker in Alexis Sanchez.
Conte has agreed every decision in the market with Inter’s hierarchy but would like some more signings before the window shuts on 2 September.
Inter play their first competitive match of the new season this evening when they welcome Lecce to San Siro.
Juventus and Napoli both began their campaigns with a win on Saturday and it is now up to Conte’s side to respond.
AC Milan lost to Udinese last night, with Roma being held by Genoa and Lazio and Atalanta both winning.
