Inter & Man Utd Still Negotiating Over Alexis Sanchez’s Wages

Inter have still not reached an agreement with Manchester United over Alexis Sanchez’s €13 million annual salary, according to Gazzetta dello Sport this morning.

The forward is thought to be waiting to complete a loan move and was left out of United’s squad to play Crystal Palace on Saturday.

United want Inter to pay half of Sanchez’s wages while the Nerazzurri are only prepared to pay €4 million.

Suning should be able to convince the Red Devils to give them the green light by raising their offer to €5 million.

Antonio Conte will have to make do without Sanchez tonight as Inter begin their Serie A campaign at home to Lecce.

Romelu Lukaku and Stefano Sensi are due to make their full debuts at San Siro while Nicolo Barella and Valentino Lazaro start on the bench.

Diego Godin is ruled out of this evening’s match and is not certain of recovering in time for Sunday’s fixture against Cagliari.

Inter will hope the Uruguayan is fit to play at the Sardegna Arena and that Sanchez can make his own debut at the same time.
