Cristiano Biraghi and Diego Godin could both make their competitive debuts for Inter against Cagliari on Sunday night, according to Tuttosport.
Biraghi officially completed a loan move from Fiorentina this morning before taking part in his first training session with Antonio Conte.
Godin has been out of action for four weeks with a thigh injury but played in a practice match at Appiano Gentile earlier this week.
Both players are expected to be included in Conte’s match-day squad for the trip to the Sardegna Arena, although it would seem unlikely either will start.
Inter will be looking to make it six points from six this weekend before the first international break of the season arrives.
Conte’s side recorded a 4-0 win over Lecce at San Siro on Monday, with Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi, Romelu Lukaku and Antonio Candreva all on the score-sheet.
Sunday’s fixture in Sardinia will be an emotionally charged occasion for Nicolò Barella and Radja Nainggolan in particular.
Barella moved to Inter for an expected fee of €45 million in July, before Nainggolan returned to the Rossoblu on loan several weeks later.
