Cristiano Biraghi will wear the no. 34 shirt for Inter after completing a long-awaited return to the club, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Inter have resigned the full-back on loan with an option to buy for €12 million, which would be payable in three installments.
Biraghi has dreamed of moving back to his boyhood club for years and discussed his emotions with Inter’s management before signing his new contract yesterday.
He will begin training again at Appiano Gentile today with his new teammates and Antonio Conte, with whom he has already spoken over the phone.
Inter welcomed Alexis Sanchez to Milan on Wednesday as the Chilean prepares to complete a season-long loan move from Manchester United.
But not even El Nino Maravilla’s arrival in Italy could overshadow Biraghi’s perfect day, as the 26-year-old swapped clubs with Dalbert.
Biraghi made 35 league appearances for Fiorentina last season as Vincenzo Montella’s side narrowly escaped relegation to Serie B.
The Italy international spent seven years playing in Inter’s youth system before leaving to join Chievo in 2014.
