Inter are considering a last-minute move to resign their former midfielder Daniel Bessa, according to Tuttosport.

Bessa is not part of Hellas Verona’s plans for this season after returning from an 18-month loan at Genoa in the summer.

The 26-year-old might be available on loan with an option to buy and was recently offered to Inter, who are now studying the costs and potential benefits of the deal.

Inter are already on good terms with Verona after the clubs’ recent negotiations for Eddie Salcedo, who is poised to join the Gialloblu on loan before Monday’s deadline.

Bessa missed Sunday’s match against Bologna at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi due to a small physical problem.

He spent several years playing in Inter’s youth system, just like Cristiano Biraghi, and would therefore be eligible for a homegrown slot in Antonio Conte’s Champions League squad.

TS assured Bessa had earned the chance to return home after proving he was now a reliable player, scoring once and providing four assists for Genoa last season.

He would represent a particularly useful option for Conte in Europe if Borja Valero were to leave in the next five days.
