Inter have offered to accept sending former captain Mauro Icardi out on loan this season if he accepts to signing a one year contract extension, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
According to the report, in the past few hours there have been new contacts between Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and the wife and agent of Mauro Icardi, Wanda Nara, where this was brought up by the Nerazzurri Director.
However, Marotta underlined that Juventus would not be one of the club’s that Icardi would be able to go on loan to, something that Bianconeri Director Paratici had been hoping to be able to do.
According to the report, Wanda is trying to convince her husband and client to accept a move away from Inter as it is becoming more and more clear to the duo that he won’t be getting any playing time.
Meanwhile, Ligue 1 side Monaco have tabled an offer of €65 million for the player but he has not shown any interest in accepting neither them nor Napoli who have set tomorrow as the deadline for Icardi to change his mind before moving on to other targets.
