Inter have received a mouth-watering bid of €30 million plus bonuses from Fiorentina to sign Matteo Politano, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Viola are desperate to secure the former Sassuolo forward and are doing everything to persuade Inter to sell the 25-year-old.

Fiorentina are steadily moving closer to reaching an agreement for Politano and at that point Inter would pursue Ante Rebic at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Nerazzurri have been following the forward all summer and would now have sufficient financial resources to chase a deal.

Politano scored six goals in his debut campaign at Inter before making his move permanent for €20 million in June.

Rebic found the net on 10 occasions for Eintracht as Adi Hutter’s side reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, knocking out Inter in the last 16.

The 2018 World Cup finalist scored a hat-trick for Eintracht three weeks ago, as Adi Hutter’s men beat third-tier side Waldhof Mannheim in the German Cup.
