Inter are confident Mauro Icardi has little chance of winning a legal case against the club, according to Tuttosport.

Icardi wants full reintegration into first-team training, having been excluded from tactical exercises throughout the summer, along with €1.5 million in damages.

He remains hopeful of completing a move to Juventus before Monday’s transfer deadline, but the Bianconeri will have to offload Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic first.

“Inter have all the material necessary to prove they have not discriminated against Icardi,” TS assured.

“Despite announcing he is no longer part of their plans, they are allowing him to train with his teammates and use all facilities at Appiano Gentile. His presence or otherwise in practice matches is a technical decision which every coach has the right to make.

“Perhaps more importantly, though, Inter have not forgotten how Icardi spent two months refusing to play for the club or train with his teammates last season, having been stripped of the captain’s armband, claiming he was suffering from a knee injury.

“It was painful for months, yes, but until that point he had always lived with it and played regardless.”

Inter have little over 48 hours left in which to get rid of Icardi before the transfer window shuts until January.

Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have expressed ‘tepid’ interest but Maurito remains determined to join Juventus.

Fabio Paratici made contact again with Wanda Nara recently but the Italian champions cannot sign him if they do not trim their squad first.

Dybala’s chances of joining PSG are dropping with each day that passes while Mandzukic recently turned down a move to Barcelona.

Juventus have interest from an unnamed club in Qatar but it will be difficult to persuade the Croatian to move there.
