Inter central defender Milan Skriniar has praised manager Antonio Conte for bringing a winning mentality to the club following Inter’s 2-1 win away to Cagliari.
“These are three important points which we have picked up. Playing matches here is always difficult as Cagliari are a physical team,” he said in an interview with Sky Sport.
“We were not very concentrated at the start of the second half but the reaction after we conceded the goal was important. Conte has brought a winning mentality with him to the club, something which has been missing in recent years.”
Slovakian international Skriniar also showed little interest when asked by the broadcaster to comment on the latest developments in the long-running Mauro Icardi saga, with the Argentine striker now having launched legal action against the club.
“I cannot say anything. It is up to the club what they decide to do and what he decides to do too.”
