Despite a 100% start to the season, Gianluca Zambrotta has called for Inter manager Antonio Conte to be given time in his new position.

Former Milan player Zambrotta firstly shared his views on Conte’s appointment at the Nerazzurri.

“Did Conte going to Inter surprise me? It is part and parcel of football. He was an icon as both a player and coach at Juventus but it is part of the coaching profession to give the best for every team that you are in charge of,” he remarked in an interview with Tutto Mercato Web.

“Conte needs to be given time to work, even if you can already see that he is making his mark and that his enthusiasm has spread onto the players.”

In conclusion he was asked what he thinks Conte will have thought about Inter’s business in the transfer market.

I believe that Conte can be satisfied with what Inter have done in the transfer market.”
