Milan Skriniar is delighted with the way in which Inter have started the 2019/20 and has confirmed the squad’s intentions to try and win silverware this season.
“We have a good team, we have made good purchases in the transfer market,” he started the interview with Slovakian news outlet Sport7.
“We have six points after two games, I hope we will continue like this. Conte has a winning mentality, initially we said that we don’t want to train to get fourth or fifth, but to win something, I think we can do it this year.
The defender then spoke on Inter’s Champions League group with them set to face Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Slavia Prague in the coming weeks.
“We have a difficult group in the Champions League, we cannot choose our opponents. There is more to Barcelona than just Lionel Messi but I do not want to think about it for now as that game is far away.”
