The Summer transfer market only shut last night but Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has already began planning for next Summer’s transfer window according to a report from Turin based news outlet Tuttosport.
The first player Marotta is thinking about is Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen, who will be a free agent next Summer, unless he signs a contract extension by then.
The Danish player drew links to Real Madrid during the Summer and Spurs are desperate to tie him down to a new deal with reports in England suggesting they will offer him €12 million.
Marotta had great success when it came to bringing in free agents whilst at Juventus and he is wishing to replicate that at the Nerazzurri.
A lot will of course depend on how Inter fare in the Champions League this season. The better Inter do, the easier it will be to convince the 27-year-old
