Alexis Sanchez has spoken on what he wishes to do whilst away on international duty with the Chilean national team over the ongoing international break.
“I am still waiting to debut in the Nerazzurri shirt and because I did not play at the weekend, they gave me permission to come here,” he said in an interview with Chilean news outlet La Prensa Austral.
“Besides, I wanted to come because there are a lot of new and young players in the squad and I hope to contribute something with all the experience I have.”
The 30-year-old attacker joined Inter on a season long dry loan from Manchester United in the final days of the Summer transfer window.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona player has arrived at Inter in the hope of more regular play-time and being able to get back to his best after a nightmare 18 month spell with Manchester United.
