Alexis Sanchez will return from international duty with Chile early so to allow him to get up to speed at Inter according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The attacker, who joined the Nerazzurri on a dry loan from Manchester United in the past few days, will return to Inter’s Angelo Moratti Sports Centre training ground following Chile’s friendly match against Argentina, which will take place at 04:00 CET on Friday morning.

Sanchez was an unused substitute in Inter’s 2-1 victory over Cagliari at the weekend and is targeting taking the starting spot away from Lautaro Martinez.

It will however not be a walk in the park for him. Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku have looked good together as a partnership and have three goals between them in Inter’s two Serie A games so far.

The report from the Rome based news outlet concludes Inter manager Antonio Conte has high hopes for Sanchez and Sanchez himself knows it.
