Manuel Sierra, the agent of Emerson Espinoza has described what kind of player his client his following his arrival at Parma.

The young midfielder arrived at the Ducali on loan from Uruguayan side Boston River near the end of the recently closed Summer transfer window.

“He is a box-to-box midfielder who is very strongly physically and has good technique. With his characteristics he is able to get into the box too. He can be compared to Moussa Sissoko of Tottenham Hotspur,” he said in an interview with FCInterNews.it.

“He has arrived in Italy with the desire of growing as a professional and making his mark in the league. His arrival in Italy took shape at the end of the transfer window. After his performances for the under 20 Ecuadorian national team, there was interest in his services from Italy.”

Espinoza recently admitted that Inter have an option to sign him but Sierra was quick to insist that “for now he is a Parma player.”
